Summit girls ice hockey continues to roll with 12-1 road win over Princeton

After a tough 2-0 loss to Kent Place on Tuesday night, the Summit girls ice hockey team rebounded on Monday when its offense ran wild in a 12-1 win over Princeton at Baker Rink on the Princeton University campus.

Summit ripped off 10 straight goals before a young and inexperienced Princeton squad could even get on the board. They dominated the action throughout, out shooting the Little Tigers 42-8.

Although it took Summit five minutes to find the net, once they did, the Hilltoppers kept the pressure on, picking up four goals over the next five minutes and adding one more score before the end of the period to put the game out of reach 5-0 by the first intermission…..
