SUMMIT, NJ – Seven different Hilltoppers found the back of the net — including first-ever Varsity goals for senior Alex Kim, junior Matt Vigliotta and freshman Dylan Goldfarb — as the Summit High School Boys Varsity Hockey Team overpowered Montclair Kimberley Academy 10-0 at the Warinanco Skating Center.

Junior Greg Spitznagel had a Hat Trick, senior captain Tom Pryymak scored twice, and senior Joe Galgano, juniors Kyle Graham and Vigliotta, along with Kim and Goldfarb all found the back of the MKA net. Goldfarb also notched three assists, Tom Pryymak had four helpers for a six-point night, and senior Nikita Pryymak garnered his sixth shutout of the season between the pipes for the Maroon and White, now 8-3-2 on the season.

The ‘Top jumped on top of the Cougars 3-0 in the first, a lead that then ballooned to 8-0 after two periods. Summit outshot MKA 42-3.

Next up for Summit is January 17 home tilt versus Morris Knolls at the Union Sports Arena. The puck drops at 4:10 p.m.
